Xperia 5 Ii And 10 Series Gets November 2020 Security Patches

Xperia 5 II and 10 series gets November 2020 security patches

Sony updated the Xperia 5 II (Mark 2) recently to add November 2020 Android security patches moving the build version to 58.0.A.28.25. We saw this build hit some of the Asian SKU's a while back, and is now hitting some of the European models.

The Xperia 10 II (Mark 2) has also seen an update, albeit for one region only (SEA), which has seen the build number move from 59.0.A.8.45 to 59.0.A.10.5. We’re not sure what has changed in this new version, but it maintains the November 2020 security patches of the previous version.

Last year’s mid-rangers, the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus have also seen an update – moving from August 2020 to November 2020 Android security patches through build version 53.1.A.3.85. As always, Sony does not include a changelog, so if there is anything in particular you’ve noticed about these new updates, please let us know in the comments below.
