Sakamoto Maaya's new song "Clover" has been picked up as the opening theme for anime 'Arte' to premiere in April.
'Arte' is based on a manga by Ookubo Kei that was serialized in 'Gekkan Comic Zenon.' Set in Florence during the 16th century, it tells the story about a young girl named Arte who dreams of becoming an artist.
On February 7, Matsui Jurina announced her graduation from SKE48 during Team S's concerts at SKE48 Theater.
At the end of the live, Jurina was called out by the other members and took the stage. After singing "Ano Hi Kawashite Yakusoku," which was included in her solo album released last October, Jurina said, "Watching today's performance and watching the members recently, I feel they've grown, and I feel happy that there are more and more members who I can entrust the center position to." She continued, "I, Matsui Jurina, will graduate from SKE48."
It's been reported that actress Takeuchi Yuko (39) has given birth to her second child.
According to reports, Takeuchi gave birth to a baby boy at the end of January. Both mother and baby are in healthy condition.

E-girls member Washio Reina has kicked off her solo project 'Rei.' Her song "Call Me Sick" has been picked up as the theme song for the movie 'Shosetsu no Kamisama: Kimi to Shika Egakenai Monogatari' to premiere on May 22.
E-girls recently announced that they would disband after this year. At the same time, Washio had announced that she would be starting her activities as a solo artist. Directed by Kubo Shigeaki, 'Shosetsu no Kamisama' will star Sato Taiki (EXILE, FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE) and Hashimoto Kanna.
Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS from EXILE TRIBE will release their new album "RAISE THE FLAG" on March 18.
The album will contain "Yes we are," "SCARLET feat. Afrojack," and "Fuyuzora / White Wings," which were all released last year. The DVD and Blu-ray will include footage from 'Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS LIVE TOUR 2019: RAISE THE FLAG' held at Nagoya Dome last November. Check out the track list below!

It's been revealed that MIYAVI will release two albums (currently untitled) this year.
On January 29, MIYAVI wrapped up his eighth world tour at Blue Note HAWAII in Honolulu, Hawaii. During this concert, he announced that he would be releasing his first albums after transferring to LDH JAPAN.
He commented, "I've started working on the albums with the same flow and momentum of my latest album 'NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO.' Every time I release an album, I immediately want to start working on another one right away, but as soon as I start working on it, I feel the pain of labor. I have great respect for all mothers in the world. I am working on this album concurrently with my tours, acting, and fashion, but both my production teams in Los Angeles and Tokyo are working hard to push it forward. I'm finally done with the first half, now going into the second half. There are many songs that are filled with my personal feelings. I will do my best that it will reach a lot of people." Details on one of the two albums will be revealed on February 14.
Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS from EXILE TRIBE have unveiled the PV for their song "Rat-tat-tat."
This song was originally released in digital form last September, and its "Rattattat dance" received more than 200 million views on the video sharing app TikTok. In the PV, the seven members do the "Rattattat dance" while dressed in different professions, such as a kindergarten teacher, host, and bodybuilder.
Hinatazaka46 have revealed the PV for "Mado wo Akenakutemo", which is the coupling track to their new single "Sonna Koto Naiyo" (February 19 release).
"Made wo Akenakutemo" is a unit song sung by first generation members Kato Shiho, Saito Kyoko, Sasaki Kumi, Sasaki Mirei, and second generation members Kosaka Nao, Tomita Suzuka, and Watanabe Miho. The PV features the members moving around freely in a gorgeous hotel suite.
On January 22, 'Bunshun Online' reported that actor Higashide Masahiro (31) and wife, actress Anne (33) are currently separated. On the same day, Higashide's agency confirmed the reports, stating, "We've confirmed that the things that have been written [in the article] are almost all true," then continued, "However, we have heard that the separation is not a step toward divorce, but a cooling-off period in order to mend their relationship."
