2,805 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Tokyo On Sunday

Japan's health ministry confirmed 2,805 new cases of the coronavirus in Tokyo on Sunday, up 91 from a week ago.

The number of severely ill patients on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines in the capital stood at 11, unchanged from the previous day.

The ministry reported four new deaths in Tokyo.

Nationwide, officials confirmed 30,873 new cases and 44 deaths.
