4,121 Cases Of Coronavirus Confirmed In Tokyo On Saturday

Japan's health ministry says it confirmed 4,121 new cases of the coronavirus in Tokyo on Saturday.

The daily tally rose by 890 from a week ago, marking a seventh straight day of week-on-week increase.

The ministry also confirmed four deaths in the capital.

The number of seriously ill patients who are on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines was 14, unchanged from Friday.
