Former Unification Church Reacts To Pm Kishida's Instruction For Probe

The former Unification Church says it will take careful note of Prime Minister Kishida Fumio's call for an investigation into the religious group.
Kishida met Culture Minister Nagaoka Keiko on Monday morning, and told her to open the probe into the group based on the right to ask questions stipulated in the law.
The former Unification Church says that since such a probe is unprecedented, it will wait for the culture agency's decision and how the right to ask questions will be exercised.
