Japan's Defense Ministry: Ballistic Missiles Fired By N.korea Fell Outside Eez

Japan's State Minister of Defense Ino Toshiro has said that North Korea launched two ballistic missiles eastward from a location near the North's east coast after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday.
He told reporters his ministry estimates that the missiles fell into the Japan Sea outside Japan's exclusive economic zone.
Ino said the ministry estimates that the first missile was launched at around 1:47 a.m., and that the second was fired at around 1:53 a.m.
He said both missiles traveled about 350 kilometers and reached an altitude of roughly 100 kilometers.
The defense ministry says it has not received any reports of damage to airplanes or ships.
