Japan's Health Ministry Confirms 1,372 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Tokyo

Japan's health ministry says it confirmed 1,372 new cases of the coronavirus in Tokyo on Monday.

The daily tally is down 301 from a week ago.

The ministry also said four deaths were confirmed in the capital.

The number of seriously ill patients on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines is eight, down one from Sunday.

Nationwide, ministry officials confirmed 13,038 new cases and 50 deaths on Monday.
