Kishida: Japan To Closely Follow Developments In Uk After Truss Resignation

Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio says he will continue to follow developments in the UK after British Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her resignation.
Kishida told reporters on Friday that he views Britain as a global strategic partner that shares basic values with Japan.
He said Japan has to maintain its close ties with Britain in responding to Russia's aggression against Ukraine and advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific.
