Tokyo Reports 4,711 New Cases Of Coronavirus
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government confirmed 4,711 new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday.
The daily tally is up about 1,500 from a week ago, marking the second consecutive day of week-on-week increase.
Tokyo officials reported six deaths from the virus on Sunday.
They said the number of seriously ill patients on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines in the capital is eight, unchanged from the previous day.
