10 Olympics - Related Coronavirus Cases Confirmed

Ten more coronavirus cases linked to the Olympics have been confirmed including two athletes who came from overseas. This brings the total of Games-related cases since the beginning of this month to 132.

The Tokyo Olympic organizing committee issued the results of the latest PCR testing on Sunday.

A Dutch rower tested positive after competing in a preliminary race. He is one of the two athletes in the latest cases.

The 10 cases also included Games officials from abroad who are staying in the Athletes' Village and media people.

The organizing committee also said it has confirmed six close contacts of a Czech cyclist who was confirmed on Thursday to have been infected with the virus.
