It Firm Takes Olympic Spectating Virtual

Most events for the Tokyo Olympics are being held without spectators, but one Japanese IT firm has gone the extra mile to make sure its employees can still watch the Games together.
The company has created a virtual stadium where staff can meet up and safely view events from home. They can share impressions and cheer on athletes over online calls or messages.
All of the firm's employees have been working remotely since February last year due to the coronavirus. The company hopes the virtual system will help bring them together.
The staff are even allowed to count up to eight hours of viewing towards work time.
