Tennis Players Call For Matches To Be Rescheduled

The top tennis players at the Tokyo Olympics are reportedly calling for matches to be rescheduled to avoid the heat.
CNN and other outlets quoted world number one Novak Djokovic as saying Tokyo's high temperatures and humidity are made worse by the hard court surfaces, which absorb the heat.
The reports say Djokovic has asked for matches to be played in the evenings. He won his first-round match on Saturday.
World number two Daniil Medvedev reportedly said the conditions in Tokyo are among the hottest and most humid he has ever experienced, and also suggested matches be rescheduled for later in the day.
