On your computer if you deleted a file, it would end up in your computer’s trash can. This is done to help you potentially retrieve files you might not have intended to delete, but accidentally done so. However, on your phone, there isn’t anything quite like that, and while you can retrieve deleted files, it’s not so straightforward.

However, the good news is that in the upcoming Android 11 update, it seems that Google has introduced a hidden trash can feature in the operating system. What this means is that in the event that files are deleted, they can be retrieved as long as it is not more than 30 days since they were deleted.

At the moment no one really knows how much Sony’s next-gen PS5 console will cost, but a listing on Amazon revealed that it could be priced starting at $450 and could go up to close to $600. Now according to the latest rumors, it seems that in terms of price, Microsoft could very well win on that front.

This comes from a user calling themselves Eastmen who posted on the Beyond3D forums (as reported by Dutch website Techtastic) claiming that the Xbox Series X could be priced at around $400, while the Xbox Series S could even hit price points as low as $200. The post claims that to cover their potential losses in hardware sales, Microsoft might be looking to take a bigger cut of game sales and subscriptions.

The Nintendo Wii was released more than a decade ago, about 13 years to be exact. It is one of Nintendo’s most successful consoles to date (although the Switch seems to be catching up), and it seems that over in the Windsor Court care home located in Wetherby in the UK, the Wii is still finding a lot of use amongst its residents.

According to a report from the Harrogate Informer, they revealed how a Wii was donated to the care home thanks to the efforts of a domestic assistant at the home, Leown Botten. Botten then helped set the console up and even taught them how to play, and it appears to be quite a smashing success as the residents are now having a truckload of fun playing it.

According to the listing, the PS5 is priced at €499 for the standard version, and €399 for the Digital Edition (which doesn’t come with an optical drive). This roughly converts to around $565 and $450 respectively.

The company has announced a free title called the Jump Rope Challenge. This is pretty much as its name suggests, where players will be able to jump rope using their Joy-Cons to emulate the experience of jumping rope. According to Nintendo, this game was developed by developers who were working from home in Japan to help incorporate some physical movement in their life while making it a fun and social game.

Neither the Sony PS5 nor Microsoft’s Xbox Series X have been released, but it seems that some analysts are already predicting that Sony will be winning the next-gen console war like they did with the PS4. This is according to Ampere Analysis who predicts that Sony will sell as many as 4.6 million units of the PS5 by the end of 2020, while Microsoft’s Xbox Series X will only manage 3.3 million units in the same period.

They even go one step further by predicting sales for the next four years, where they estimate that Sony’s lead over Microsoft will widen by the end of 2024, where the PS5 would have sold 66 million units versus the Xbox Series X’s 37 million units. Of course, these are just predictions and they might not necessarily come true, so it remains to be seen.

The colour purple has been a fan-favourite in Xperia smartphones ever since the Xperia Z, but it was an often used colour in Sony Ericsson phones of the past too. We saw a very vibrant purple used in last year's Xperia 1, and Sony has re-thought the colour for its re-introduction in the Xperia 1 II.

Back in the early days of the smartphone, we would see phones launch with 16GB of storage which is paltry by today’s standards. This is because display resolutions were low, meaning that apps would not require hi-def assets. Back in November last year, Adobe announced that they were developing a new app called Photoshop Camera. For those who might have missed the announcement, basically this is a camera app that comes with a variety of lenses and filters that allows users to take all kinds of funky and interesting photos.

The app, following the announcement, was made available as a public preview. However, for those who missed out on the preview, the good news is that Adobe has since released the app in full where users on both iOS and Android will be able to download it. The best part is that it is also free.

IO Interactive’s Hitman franchise has been around for a while now, although it was recently rebooted in the past few years. Then there was also that time a few years ago that IO Interactive parted ways with Square Enix which left some wondering about the future of the series.

IO had previously confirmed that development on future games had not ended, and it looks like they were true to their word because Hitman 3 has since been officially announced. The game is currently scheduled for a release in 2021, and while the game was announced during Sony’s PS5 event, the game will actually be available across multiple platforms, including previous generation consoles.

If you were hoping to see Rockstar’s GTA 6 arrive for the PS5, you might be disappointed, but the good news is that it looks like GTA 5 will be coming to the console in 2021.

Yes, we know that GTA 5 is an old game, but even by today’s standards, it is still very much a beautiful-looking game and it plays great. The version launching for the PS5 won’t just be a port of the current GTA 5, but it will come with several technical improvements and visual upgrades that should take advantage of the console’s hardware, as well as new features and content that will hopefully breathe new life into the game.

During Sony’s PlayStation event, the company officially unveiled the PS5 console which will be launching in two editions – the regular PS5 and the PS5 Digital Edition. Both consoles will be more or less identical in terms of performance, with the main difference being that the Digital Edition will not come with a disc drive, meaning that it will be purely for digital downloads.

US pre-orders for the Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark 2) flagship already opened up a while ago.
