The much-awaited successor of the Lamborghini Aventador has made its spy debut wearing a thin layer of camouflage over what appears to be its production body. This is our first look at the upcoming hybrid V12-powered supercar and gives us a good idea of how aggressive the new flagship Lambo will look.

The Mazda CX-60 is here, and while it looks like a typical Mazda SUV, it's much more than that. It's the first model to feature Mazda's long-awaited rear-drive platform. It also is Mazda's first plug-in hybrid model to go on sale, and it will eventually get Mazda's inline-six engines.

There's only one powertrain available at launch in the CX-60, and it's the plug-in hybrid. It combines the familiar Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder found in the CX-5, CX-50, CX-30, 6 and 3, but it's paired with a 134-horsepower electric motor. Total output is 323 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful production Mazda ever. It's apparently able to go from 0 to 62 mph in 5.8 seconds. The engine is mounted longitudinally, with the electric motor and a multi-plate clutch connecting it to the new eight-speed automatic transmission. While the CX-60's platform is rear-drive-based, the plug-in hybrid model is all-wheel-drive-only, with the front wheels engaged via a multi-plate clutch. There are multiple drive modes including Normal, Sport, Off-Road, Towing, and, for the PHEV version, an EV mode. Towing capacity is also just over 5,500 pounds.

Japan’s transportation ministry raided the offices of Hino Motors, a truck-making subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corp after the company admitted to falsifying emissions data.

According to reports out of Japan, Toyota will officially announce plans to offer a six-speed manual in the GR Supra on April 28th.

The 2023 Acura Integra continues to disappoint — is what fans of the original are likely to say upon hearing that the standard transmission for the upcoming sport sedan is a CVT. Acura made a big deal out of the fact that the revived Integra would have a manual transmission prior to its reveal. However, if a newly leaked spec chart is to be believed, most trim levels will only get a continuously variable transmission.

Previously some believed that Acura would offer their 10-speed automatic in the Integra, but specs posted to the Integra Talk forum, indicate that is not the case. They show three levels of trim: base, A-Spec, and A-Spec with Tech Package. All come with the CVT, except the A-Spec Tech, which can be optioned with a six-speed manual transmission.

The 2022 Toyota GR 86 is an excellent sports car that won't break the bank and thanks to a new engine, it now offers up more power than its predecessor. But just how much power does it have?

Navigation systems are becoming more advanced all the time, but until recently, they've nearly always been based on sight. Ashirase Inc., however, a new business initiative by Honda, is starting to change this by developing a GPS navigation system for the visually impaired. The in-shoe navigation system, also called Ashirase, notifies walkers using vibrational cues on their feet.

Ashirase is a two-part system that consists of an app and a wearable vibrating device connected via Bluetooth. Once connected, the app sends vibrating signals to the devices attached to the user's shoes. A pulsing forward vibration is an indication to move forward, right and left vibrations indicate turns, and both feet vibrating notifies the user to fully stop. Honda says that this system can provide the user a safe and relaxed state of mind while walking. Honda and Ashirase Inc. plan to sell the Ashirase in-shoe navigation system at the end of March 2023.

Honda Motor Co. is raising $2.75 billion in bonds meant to benefit the environment for the first time, joining its competitor Ford Motor Co. in tapping the booming world of sustainable finance to fund a transition to electric vehicles.

The Tokyo-based automaker is selling dollar-denominated green bonds in three parts, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. The longest portion of the offering, a 10-year security, is expected to yield 1.12 percentage points above Treasuries after an initially discussed level of as high as 1.4 percentage points, said the person, who asked not to be identified as the details are private. 

SAUGATUCK, Mich. -- We almost didn't take it. The 2022 Infiniti QX55 wasn't our first choice for a long weekend getaway to the frozen shores of Lake Michigan. No slight against this stylish crossover -- it's just not all that big. Especially for two adults, a preschooler, a golden retriever and all of the things needed for a winter vacation. The night before we left, in the drive-through line at Culver's, we decided: "Hey this thing is really nice. Let's hope everything fits."

More important decisions have been made with less thought, so the next morning I began packing the QX55. With 26.9 cubic feet, there's actually more cargo space than coupe-styled crossovers like the 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback, Mercedes GLC Coupe and BMW X4. Still, the graceful rooflines limit storage capacity for all of these. In my mind, they're more commuter crossovers. If you need real space, you would opt for the more upright QX50 and its 31.4 cubic feet of cargo room.
