Nissan unveiled a limited edition of the Juke for the UK market that is called the “Kiiro”, as part of the partnership with The Batman movie that’s set to premiere in London on March 4th.

We've been waiting for an announcement that the redesigned Nissan Qashqai would make its way here as the Rogue Sport for more than two years now, but everything is still quiet on the eastern front. While we continue to anticipate, Nissan is giving us the Rogue Sport we've known since 2017 with no changes save for a slightly higher MSRP. The front-wheel-drive versions of the three available trims, S, SV, and SL have all gone up by $100. The AWD models have all gone up by $200. Every version is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 141 horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque, shifting through an Xtronic continuously variable transmission. Nissan has made its Safety Shield 360 ADAS standard on every trim, providing features such as Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Automatic Braking. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay also come standard, displayed on the NissanConnect's seven-inch infotainment screen. 

For the twelfth year in a row, Acura is a presenting sponsor and the official vehicle of the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Acura created a four-part anime series called Chiaki's Journey combining the medium Sundance celebrates, Japanese anime, the automaker's fuller Type-S lineup, and the new Acura Integra hatch. Unlike most of the films at the festival, however, Chiaki's Journey runs a total of four minutes and 12 seconds, each episode lasting just over a minute.

The story centers on Chiaki, a young Japanese woman from a family of racers who knows how to hustle a car around a track, but who has a temper that runs faster than her vintage Integra can rev. The villain is Erich Kang, the same rich and insufferably arrogant hotshot from every video game and car movie, piloting a non-descript blue hot rod. He's clearly the guy everyone would like to beat, and he knows he's that guy. When Chiaki gets behind the wheel to teach Kang a lesson in lap times, her uncle Noboru steps in to teach her the lessons she'll need to need to win.

The Nissan Z is among the most anticipated cars of the year, and it's not every day (in fact, 12 years) that a new one launches. So it's only natural that there would be some extra fanfare that comes with the car. In the case of watchmaker Citizen, that comes in the form of a limited edition timepiece inspired by the new Z.

The watch comes in two colors, Ikazuchi Yellow and Seiran Blue. The former was the launch color of the Z Proto concept, and its face has a gradient dot pattern, also in Ikazuchi, which means thunderbolt, that matches the Z's seat design. The Seiran one, inspired by the deep blue color Nissan has been showing the production car in, has a matte finish face designed to evoke the "smooth new asphalt on a highway."

Cummins, the company known best for its diesel engines, just announced a partnership with Isuzu to "create a prototype medium-duty, battery electric truck" for North America.

Exploration of electric powertrains isn't totally new for Cummins, as it's talked about a transition to electric since 2017. In fact, Cummins even revealed a battery-powered truck back then, too. This electric truck with Isuzu is new, though, and it's going to put the Cummins PowerDrive6000 powertrain into Isuzu's F-Series truck that you can see in the photo above.

TOKYO — Sony Group will likely add new technology partners to its electric vehicle (EV) project to help it forge a mobility business to transform cars from transportation machines to entertainment spaces, a Sony executive told Reuters.

An ongoing shift to electric cars, which are easier to build than those with internal combustion engines, is allowing new entrants into vehicle manufacturing. At the same time, autonomous driving and 5G connectivity is expected remold the auto industry by turning cars into mobile platforms for information and entertainment services.
