2023 Acura Integra revealed | Civic Si turbo and manual, $30,000 base price

It's been a couple of decades, but the storied Acura Integra nameplate is returning to the road as a 2023 model. The Civic-based Acura sedan borrows the sporty Si's 1.5-liter, turbocharged 4-cylinder and 6-speed manual transmission with its limited-slip differential, though the exact specs still remain up in the air.

The prototype was shown in a new color dubbed "Indy Yellow," which pays homage to the iconic Phoenix Yellow finish offered on the Integra Type R. It rides on 19-inch five-spoke wheels over Brembo brakes.

Toyota skips zero-emissions pledge, says world's not ready

TOKYO — Large parts of the world are not ready for zero-emission vehicles, which is why Toyota Motor Corp did not sign a pledge this week to phase out fossil-fuel cars by 2040, the world's largest automaker said on Thursday.

Six major carmakers, including General Motors, Ford, Sweden's Volvo Cars and Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz, signed the Glasgow Declaration on Zero Emission Cars and Vans, as did a number of countries including India.

Subaru Solterra Revealed As A Badge - Engineered Toyota Bz4x

Subaru Solterra revealed as a badge-engineered Toyota bZ4X

The Subaru Solterra electric SUV is making its official U.S. debut next week in Los Angeles, along with U.S. specifications. But it has been shown early in Japan. The SUV has been jointly developed with Toyota, which will sell it as the bZ4X. And unsurprisingly, the two look nearly identical.

That's no exaggeration. The entire midsection, even the body cladding, is the same as the Toyota. Inside the Solterra, it's again the same as the bZ4X, though there's no yoke to be seen.

2022 Nissan Sentra Starts At $20,485, With Small Updates

2022 Nissan Sentra starts at $20,485, with small updates

After giving us a comprehensively redesigned Sentra for the 2020 model year, Nissan is mostly holding pat with its bread-and-butter sedan for 2022. The automaker had raised prices in 2021 by a few hundred dollars, but also improved the optional LED projector headlights in the Premium Package for the SV and SR trims so that the sedan would earn Top Safety Pick status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Pricing holds steady for 2022 on two of the three trims, with the top-tier Sentra SR going up by $250.

Prices for the range, including the $975 destination charge, are:

2022 Polaris Rzr Pro R Is A Side - By - Side With Subaru Brz - Like Power

2022 Polaris RZR Pro R is a side-by-side with Subaru BRZ-like power

Polaris is out to prove that side-by-sides aren't merely overgrown golf carts. It's releasing a pair of new models named RZR Pro R and RZR Turbo R, respectively, for the 2022 model year. Both are fun-oriented, off-road-ready vehicles that pack a surprising amount of horsepower.

The big news for 2022 is the RZR Pro R, which stands proud as the most powerful series-produced side-by-side ever developed by Polaris. It's the same buggy that Hoonigan jumped over a freeway ramp in California in October 2021. It's powered by a naturally-aspirated, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine tuned to develop 225 horsepower; in car terms, that's a 44-horse bump over the 2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata and merely three short of the 2022 Subaru BRZ. Polaris made several mechanical upgrades (like fitting a larger clutch) to ensure the drivetrain can handle the power. And, the driver will have three throttle control modes called Sport, Rock, and Race, respectively, to choose from.
