Sony A7c Will Be Announced September 15

It has been rumored for a while now that Sony could have a new mirrorless camera in the works. This camera is thought to be an entry-level full-frame camera that will be part of Sony’s A7 series, which some have dubbed as the Sony A7c. If you’re wondering about the camera, you won’t have to wait much longer.

This is because Sony has announced that on the 15th of September, they will be holding an event in which a new camera will be announced. The company stopped short of confirming the rumors or the name of the upcoming camera, but we expect that those details will be revealed in the coming week.

So far, based on the rumors, the alleged specs of the Sony A7c will feature the same 24MP sensor as the Sony A7 III. It will also feature the same articulating screen as the A7s III, and will also borrow the autofocus algorithm from the camera. There will be support for 4K video recording at 30 fps, IBIS, and will sport a body design similar to the A6000.

That being said, it might not necessarily come cheap either. The rumors are suggesting that it will be priced more expensive than the A7 III, so if you were hoping for something cheap, you might be disappointed. Take these specs with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us next week for the official details.
