13,321 New Covid Cases Reported In Tokyo On Saturday

Japan's health ministry says it confirmed 13,321 new cases of the coronavirus in Tokyo on Saturday.

The figure is down 248 from one week ago.

The ministry also confirmed 13 deaths.

There are 20 seriously ill patients on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines. The number is the same as Friday.

Nationwide, 109,591 new infections and 180 deaths were confirmed on Saturday.
