Suga: Weekly Supply Of 100 Million Masks Likely

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told reporters on Wednesday that supplies of face masks will likely top 100 million per week.
Japan faces an acute shortage of face masks following the outbreak of the new coronavirus in China.
Suga said both the health and industry ministries strongly urged suppliers to boost their production capacity late last month.
He says as a result, companies are working around the clock and will likely be able to supply more than 100 million face masks every week.
